New Plein Air Paintings
For nine days in July, a group of pastel artists were inspired by Richard McKinley, beautiful weather and great painting sites in Fidalgo Island and the Skagit Valley in Northern Washington. Painting on location is valuable for any artist -- I'm sure my studio work will be more sensitive to light and color.
Also shown below are paintings from 2007 trips to Lopez Island, Washington and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
